⚠️ What You Should Do

Update: Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled portable generators, unless the locking pin has been properly inserted to secure the handle in place before and after moving the generator, and contact Generac for a free, updated repair kit.Customers who responded to the original recall will automatically be sent a new kit. Please allow four weeks from the release of this notice for the processing of orders before inquiring if you have not yet received your kit.For more information, consumers may contact Generac Power Systems, Inc. by telephone toll-free at 1-844-242-3493 from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. CDT Monday to Friday, or accessing the Generac website.Joint recall with Health Canada, the United States Consumer Product Safety Commission (US CPSC) and Generac Power Systems, Inc.Please note that the Canada Consumer Product Safety Act prohibits recalled products from being redistributed, sold or even given away in Canada.Health Canada would like to remind Canadians to report any health or safety incidents related to the use of this product or any other consumer product or cosmetic by filling out the Consumer Product Incident Report Form.This recall is also posted on the OECD Global Portal on Product Recalls website.
